Participating in a Clinical Trial

Choosing to participate in a clinical trial is an important personal decision. The U.S. National Institutes of Health, through its National Library of Medicine, has developed ClinicalTrials.gov to provide patients, family members and members of the public with current information about clinical research studies. The web site provides information on frequently asked questions and lists introductory information about clinical trials process. We encourage you to talk to your physician, the PCRC Research Subject Advocate and staff, family members, or friends about deciding to join a clinical trial.
